The Croatian League of Robotics is a competition for primary and secondary school students organized and conducted by the Croatian Robotics Society. The aim of the webinar was to acquaint interested teachers and students with the method of implementation and the possibility of participating in the competition.


The webinar participants got acquainted with the organization of the competition, the rules of the competition, the tasks to be solved and the construction and preparation of robots for the competition.

 

The webinar was organized within the School of Robotics, which is organized and conducted by the Croatian Robotics Society for primary and secondary school teachers.

The webinar enabled participants to expand their knowledge in the field of connecting and managing Boe Bot via Bluetooth in Microsoft Robotics Developer Studio 2008 R3, and was held as part of the School of Robotics, which for many years allows students to expand knowledge in robotics. Students of the School of Robotics are teachers who continuously acquire new and expand existing knowledge and transfer it in their communities to other interested teachers and their students. The webinar was held in Zagreb, and participants were able to follow it via the Internet in various places in Croatia (Pula, Ogulin, Šibenik, Imotski and Split).

The webinar was presented as a theoretical introduction to a practical workshop that will be held within the School of Robotics in 2012 in Zagreb. In addition to presenting new content, the webinar showed participants that in their practice, in addition to traditional, they can also apply teaching supported by the technology of so-called. e-learning.
