Linda Fahlberg-Stojanovska: “Classrooms and Education: Video Projectors and Dynamic Presentation”

October 13th, 2010.

“What is the worst way to integrate technology in the classroom? Create a presentation with static content, turn on your video projector, dim the lights and your kiddies will go straight into a coma. Particularly in mathematics.

In this webinar, I presented 2 of the technologies I use every day in my (OMG -  mathematics) classroom, but that really work regardless of the curriculum (program) and the test (assessment).
1.    Writing in real-time and in color
2.    Publishing my classes
In addition to the standard equipment of a computer and video projector needed for any presentation, the only other piece of equipment I use is a 6"x8" graphics tablet that costs ~60E and works on any PC.  View the recording of this webinar and see how easily and effectively you can use this tool in your classroom.”
