The webinar and the discussion following it will try to give answers to a number of questions like:
Robert Pypkowski is the headmaster of Middle School of Prince Siemovit IV of Mazovia in Gostynin and also a teacher of technical and programming classes. His cooperation with Oracle Corporation started in 2008 with educational projects, which were conducted and presented by using the Thinkquest platform. The next stage of the partnership was participating in the Oracle Academy’s trainings in Java programming. In September 2013 Mr Pypkowski created a team of young students from his school named ‘Alice 3 Team’. They meet together every week after their classes and learn programming. Coding lessons also take place during multiple two-day trips to different places in Poland. Students take their laptops and learn Alice, and then they take some rest. The whole group promotes learning programming skills in Alice at conferences taking place in European Code Week. During that time they perform classes for teachers, students and kindergarteners.
The webinar technology is provided by Croatian Academic and Research Network (CARNet). Technical support is provided by our colleagues from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing (FER).
You are cordially invited to join Robert Pypkowski and us on Friday, March 31, 2017at 13:00 (1PM) CET time.
